After the snow yesterday I wasn't sure if I would run today. I took off around 10:30 and ran to the Running Store and looped back. I don't know what I was thinking.....it was pretty cold but not too bad. As I am getting back it looks like the snow is going to start falling. I had a time when it was lightly raining and I was only 7 miles from home, glad that didn't last. 8:50 avg

Your turning into an animal Scott. Good job getting those longer runs in every week. It will really pay off come race time if you can get the body use to regular long runs.

Clyde, I am not sure about animal it is more like idiot. I know one thing for sure these longs runs are much harder than the ones I ran prior to the marathon. I am sure that has to do with a few factors; My long runs were on the marathon course, downhill and in the early morning coolness of summer. My runs now are gradual uphill and flat and are in the cold of winter. I am having a hard time with my stamina with the cold air, it seems to be much harder for me to process the cold air.

I really need to go run the marathon course again and see how it feels with the gradual downhill. I haven't been out on the course since the marathon.

Good luck with the hammy!
