Let me just say this....the race sucked! Any sane person with half a brain would have stayed home and had an enjoyable day....not me.

Started out wanting to let it all go for this race, I love the top 10.5 miles. Great downhill run.....I went out 6:36/ 6:34/ 6:42/ 6:52/ 6:55/ 7:13/ 7:32/ 7:51/ 7:50/ 8:03/ 7:56 This brought me to I-15 My neuromas started acting up and I knew it was going to be a hard day, but worse than that the winds were blowing steady 30-50 mph in your face. This lasted all the way to the finish. I have never wanted to quit something more but couldn't. Had someone driven by that I knew, I would have gladly and without shame got in. I ended up taking my shoes off 5 times to massage my feet to take some pain away.

I got to the point that I really didn't care about time at all, I wanted to be done.....so I kept moving. I am totally ashamed of my 4:15 time. Last year I ran a 3:28 Well time to enjoy some winter training and get this ugly race out of my mind......Boston, you better be a fun, enjoyable experience!

Sorry it was so crappy for you Scott. As we all find out those really good, fun and fast races are few and far between. Keep up the consistancy and try not to get too down from one "bad" run.
