5.15 miles late morning- Feeling a bit sore but not bad, actually more tight than sore in the hams. Loop around Bloomington 7:52 average pace 8:32/ 7:59/ 7:42/ 7:32/ 7:39 Went out wanting to hold a solid but not fast pace, continued consistent running. I did feel it easier to run when I got warmed up a bit so I did drop the pace a bit and tried holding it.

One of the better runs in the last few months!

4-5 more hard training weeks to Boston and then I can start to mellow out a bit.

PM- 6 miles from Dixie College to home in the dark: Feet a bit tired but overall a pretty good run- slow but it was dark out. 8:37 pace

AM- 5.10 miles around Bloomington-same as yesterday morning- slower but did not stop during run plus My legs are a bit tired and they didn't want to get out and race. 8:29 pace

PM- repeat of AM 7:54 pace First mile warmup and then tried to push just a little but keep good breathing and no stopping for anything. Kept the pace at 7:30 for the last 4 miles.

This run was very encouraging compared to this morning-

My wife dropped me off in downtown St. George, ran home 5.50 miles  7:58 average pace. Heavy legs to start with but the slight downhill made up the difference as I was averaging 8:00 for warmup. Slowed a bit in the middle and had to puch harder the last 2 miles including Tonaquint Drive to get the average under 8

8:10/ 7:49/ 8:01/ 8:25-Tonaquint Drive up/ 7:37/ 7:30

PM: out to SunRiver small loop then back  6miles @ 8:15 pace 8:34/ 8:14/ 8:09/ 8:26/ 8:02/ 8:01 Another consistent run without stopping-

Early morning run- 34 degrees, Made the SunRiver/ River Road loop. Went our very slow because I was just not feeling strong this morning but finished better on the second half. 8:44 average pace. This was a high mileage week for me. I will back off a bit next week and then go back to 60+ again the week following.
